The FTC (Federal Trade Commission) continued its crack down on the prepaid calling card industry by suingĀ Diamond Phone Card, Inc (based in Elmhurst, New York).
This crack down is an effort to quell any misleading advertising that is being perpetuated by some calling card companies who sell calling cards that advertise more minutes than they actually deliver and/or without proper disclosure of additional fees.
This is a clear message to the consumers of prepaid calling cards that they should very carefully look into any company they are considering to buy a calling card from. If you are looking to purchase a calling card, review these calling card tips and advice before you buy a calling card.
